The “Cannara” is a very old building whose origins can be traced back to Roman times and perhaps even earlier. The complex of Cannara is a unique residence surrounded by a luxuriant garden and crossed by a river that offers three different types of accommodations: The Cannara, The River House, The garden House. Each accommodation is completely independent and able to ensure a pleasant privacy in accordance with the character of the place. La Cannara: for over 30 years the Cannara was the private residence of the current owners, who respectfully renovated it and turned the property from a fishing plant into a luxury villa, where antiques and memorabilia create a unique atmosphere. It comprises 3 double bedrooms - all with en-suite bathroom - and a single room. The River House is a suite consisting of a living room with a kitchenette and a double room with bathroom. Everything is suspended above one of the two pools: you will stay and sleep just over the river that will be your whispering mate all day long. You can see it from the large window in the living room, seething on the small waterfall, or through the bedroom window flowing quietly downstream. The Garden House is a small garden house, perched alongside the river, with two comfortably and finely furnished bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom. Attached to one of the rooms there is a living\dining room and a veranda overlooking the river. The all complex is rented exclusively and there is a small spa room with Iacuzzi.
The residence is located in a secluded area surrounded by nature. We are in the heart of the Tuscia countryside. For shopping you have to go to the closest town, Marta.
The residence is located in Marta, on the shores of Lake Bolsena, in the region of Tuscia, the area formerly inhabited by the Etruscans, rich of historic, cultural, architectural and natural wonders. Within short distance you can reach Montefiascone, Tuscania, Tarquinia and in forty-five minutes Viterbo and Orvieto. Rome is approximately one hour and a half.
