SITES TO SEE
While Rome seduces with its extraordinary monuments, Trastevere captures the traveler's heart. It is the most authentic and characteristic district, the perfect place to glimpse the flavor of the city. Often described as Bohemian, Trastevere maintains its character thanks to the old, narrow, winding, cobblestone streets and its ancient buildings covered in clinging ivy. Here you find the traditional trattorie, the picturesque little squares to enjoy a coffee in the sun, the small workshops. Take a stroll through the beautiful Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere, visit the Botanical Garden, shop for groceries at the market in Piazza San Cosimato, drink an aperitivo in one of the many bars in the neighborhood and you will feel as part of this little village inside the eternal city.
